Georgian
1714–1837Everything here is older than photography, which is a strange thing to hold in your hand. We run the era to 1837 so William IV stays with the Georges.
Most of what survives from these years is small. Away from the silver trades, makers mostly went unrecorded, so a Georgian date is usually a range, and Attributed turns up on these cards more often than we would like.
